First off, I am not much of a photographer, so I cannot give you much critique on techniques such as lighting, focus, etc. etc. etc. I can say that the picture is not as "clear" as it could be, but that I sort of like the resolution as it is (this could also just be the dust on my computer).

What I can talk about though is that the image content itself is lovely, good angle for the girl and the instrument. Maybe the violin needs a little bit more focus of attention? Because it is so shadowy, my eye tends to unintentionally overlook it somewhat; I look at the girl's face far more than the instrument. While her face is wonderfully expressive, since the title is "Miss You" and we can see her reflecting on the violin, I think we want the violin to be a more prominent focus. I do not know what to do to achieve that, because I also wonder if lightening it would change anything, either. I'll leave that to someone who knows more about photography. Maybe it's some other solution like cropping... play around with it.

The emotion of the piece is what really impacts me. The title and the photograph together are absolutely beautiful and poignant. I love that she holds the bow but not the instrument; the instrument is beside her, almost as though it is another person reclining. This is wonderful and really personifies the instrument and makes it appear as a very clear, striking symbol. I relate to this photograph very well, which is not something I say of many photographs. This is incredible gorgeous. Thank you for sharing!
