Description
I've always admired the asian culture, and I've been searching far and wide for a parasol for ages. I finally found two, this one and a blue one, at an estate sale. They're nylon, not authetic paper, but oh well.
This took alot of running back and forth, in my front yard, in a dress, in 65 degree weather, barefoot. Yay! But it was fun, and I really like the way it came out.

Answering your recent journal: I like the effect, and when done right it's very beautiful. And this photo certainly suits the effect. But I think it is highly overused, especially by amateurs, and can remind someone of "Instagram."
